Class Name: Pumilit
Damage/Support
Light Armor
Medium Energy
Mid-Range / Melee

Description:
The Pumilit is a profession that uses mounts to aid themselves in battle. (Sort of like a Form Spell from Dervishes) They have mounts that increase speed, armor, attack, and "spell bonus's." They use Lances and Halberds in battle. A Lance is a Mid-Range weapon, and the Halberd is a Melee (close range) weapon.

Unique:
The reason that this class is unique is that for starters it is a melee and a ranged battler. They dont rely on magic, like a warrior, but they rely on their mounts as sort of a guide in how they fight (using skills such as the Fire Mount's spear and the Earth Mount's shield to aid them in battle. And lastly of course THEY USE MOUNTS? lol. (DO NOT think of these mounts as anything of the WoW type. Actually read their skills. lol)


Weapons:

Lance (Mid-Range)
Piercing Dmg 10-24 (Requires 9 Lance Mastery)
One Handed weapon

Halberd (Melee)
Piercing Dmg 15-35 (Requires 9 Halberd Mastery)
Two Handed weapon


Armor/Energy

Armor: 70
Energy: 25, +3 Regeneration


Attributes:

Mounting: (Primary)
For every rank in Mount, the effect of all your mounted creatures attribute (strength, and skills used, etc...) become greater by x %. Also the damage and/or effect of your Mount skills become more effective.

Lance Mastery:
No Inherent Effect. Lance Mastery skills directly effect the damage, and/or negetive effect that your Lance skills attempt. (The more pts in Lance mastery also directly effect the chance of a critical hit)

Halberd Mastery:
No Inherent Effect. Halberd Mastery skills directly effect the damage, and/or negetive effect that your Halberd skills attempt. (The more pts in Halberd mastery also directly effect the chance of a critical hit)

Barren Survival:
No Inherent Effect.Most Barren Survival skills aid you or allies in battlle. There are offensive aidings, and there are survival aidings. [[NOTICE --> This is what you could compare to Wilderness survival. (Just letting you know) lol


Skills Examples:


Mounting:
Night Walker (Mount) 10e /3 sec cast / 60 sec recharge *PvE only skill*
- The Night Walker is a mount that removes 1/2 of your "Aggro Circle" for 5...20...40 seconds.

Elite - Fiery Felix (Mount) 10e / 3 sec cast / 60 sec recharge
-The Fiery Felix is a mount that changes your weapon dmg type to fire. It also increases attack +5...20 dmg for 10...30...50 seconds.

Elite - Energetic Enix (Mount) 15e / 2 sec cast / 60 sec recharge
- Engergetic Enix is a mount that increases your Energy +5...25 for 10...20...35 seconds.

Speedy Petey (Mount) 5e / 1 sec cast / 60 sec recharge
-Speedy Petey is a mount that increases your speed 33% for 10...20...40 seconds.

Elite - Felix's Fire (Enchantment/weapon spell [idk]) 20e / 1 sec cast / 10 sec recharge
-Felix's Fire grants the dmg type of fire to your weapon for 5...10...20 seconds. Attacks also burn foe for 1-3 seconds

Granite's Earth (Enchantment/weapon spell [idk]) 10e / 1 sec cast / 10 sec recharge
-Granites Earth grants the dmg type of earth to your weapon for 5...10...20 seconds. You also have a 5...10 dmg base reduction while wielding a shield.

Lance Mastery:

Blood Lance (Lance Attack) 5e / 10 sec recharge
-Throw your Lance causing bleeding to target foe for 3..13 seconds.

Fierce Throw (Lance Attack) 4adr / 20 sec recharge
- If target foe's health was below 50% that foe suffers from deep wound for 12 seconds.

Elite - Lance of Freya (Elite Lance Attack) 10e / 1 sec cast / 25 sec recharge
-Throw Lance far into the sky, if this attack hits it does + 5...15...35dmg. It also causes Daze for 1...13 seconds. All Lance attack skills are disabled for 3 seconds.

Ankle Throw (Lance Attack) 10e / 25 sec recharge
-Throw Lance at target foe causing cripple for 2...7...12

Quick Throw (Lance Attack) 5e / 1 sec cast / 3 sec recharge
-Throw Lance 3 times faster.

Halberd Mastery:

Circling Swing (Halberd Attack) 5e / 15 sec recharge
-Attack all adjacent foes for +5...15...25 dmg.

Head Splitter (Halberd Attack) 15e / 45 sec recharge
-Target foe suffers from Daze for 1..5...10 seconds

Elite - Halberd of Felix (Elite Halberd Attack) 15e / 30 sec recharge
-Attack all adjacent foes dealing +5...20 dmg. This attack also causes burning for 1...3 seconds.

Elite - Halberd of Enix (Elite Halberd Attack) 6adr / 1 sec cast / 20 sec recharge
-Target foe takes only 25 dmg. This attacks steals 1...9 energy from target foe.

Healing Halberd (Halberd Attack) 5e / 10 sec recharge
-Attack target foe, if that foe was suffering from a condition, you gain 32...65...102 health.

Barren Survival:

Elite - Weapon of Healing (Weapon Spell) 10e / 1 second cast / 30 sec recharge
-Every succesful attack by target ally also heals that ally for 13...34...54 health for 6...14...22 seconds while wielding a Halberd or Lance.

Drop of Fire (Weapon Spell) 5e / 1 second cast / 20 recharge
-Your next 2 attacks also cause burning for 1...3 seconds.

Granite's Armor (Enchantment Spell) 10e / 2.5 second cast / 45 sec recharge
-While under the effects of Granite's Armor target ally has +10...15...25 armor for 5...10...20 seconds.

Speedy's Stance (Stance) 10e / 30 sec recharge
-You move 33% faster for 3...10...14 seconds. You also have a 50% chance to block all attacks.

Potion of Health (Spell 5e / 2 second cast / 10 sec recharge
-For 15 seconds you have +2...5...8 health regen.

P.S. I do realize that there is not enough time to add these classes/professions to GW1...So please dont say that this is pointless because of a time thing. I think I stand for anyone making a concept class atm, they believe it would be cool to see these in GW2 of course. Thank you again...

seems allot like a dervish mixed with a rit,but not that bad of an idea i dont guess.

all of the lance skills are just basically ranger/paragon attacks though,should rework afew of those.

Does it seem like a derv because it has "mounts" = forms... And a rt because weapon spells? I just thought with the weapon spell, maybe another profession should be able to cast them is all.

Agreed with the lance skills. But I couldnt think of many new effects that a ranged weapon could do because basically all effects are already in use by ranger and paragon skills...

I really like the concept but I do not like the implementation. I would change the name of the class as well to something more understandable, palading maybe?

I think the weapon idea is great but I am not sure about mounts. It should be pvp usable class as well and that is clearly lacking here so there is issue with mounts (blocking view, big etc). Maybe they can replaced by some kind of a summoned companion?

lol, "Pumilit" actaully means Dragoon in Philipene I beleive...

The biggest reason I liked the mount idea tbh is that I had my idea wrapped around "Speedy Petey" The mount that can run for a long period of time. And then the "Nightstalker." I really like the idea of having a smaller Agro circle while doing a run or something...

The mount seemed to make more sense other than stealing some Rogue skills from WoW. - lame. lol Thanks for the input though.

OOH OOH!!! And since it has lances, let's make a tribute to final fantasy and give it a jump skill too!

Jump(lance mastery)-(Lance attack)For 5 seconds, you cannot attack, cast spells, move, or take damage. After 5 seconds, you teleport to target enemy, and deal 5-100 piercing damage.

Or you could make it a skill, instead of a lance attack, and have it do double damage if lance is equipped.

i really like the idea of a class with an elite-type skill of an animal. i never played FF or WoW, so correct me if im wrong, but isnt this like ranger with different bells and whistles?

really this would be an epic fail and GW dont need mounts we got fast travel

Dragoon ftw lets make it you have a 10% chance of instant KO'ing on flying enemies 9999dmg ftw

And lets introduce jobs to final fantasy style "Rolling on the floor laughing"
